Dear Sir

I will take the 50 grave covers 3'6" x 2'2" at 35^cents delivered at storehouse as usual. I will also take 35 covers 3'9" x 2'8" I would like all of these delivered as soon as you can, especially the larger size.

I shall want probably 50 more of small size so when you have any of that size, let me know.

I am likely to want some slate grave covers of extra thickness, as what price per square foot will you deliver new slates [not has?] stone 1 1/2 inches thick, say 8 in number 3'-6"x3'-0"; also at what price will you deliver them 2 [inside?] if wanted that thickness.

How long will it take to get them out - if very large, I should [?] to use South River [?]

Your favor of the 26^th rec'd. I have made the corrections on the plan which should as you supposed show 1/2" on each side.

The right have side of face will be the same as the left except that the face to be rubbed is reversed.

Dear Sir

You have the first choice of the land adjacent to your lot. If you do not wish to buy then I can sell to the first buyer. The price of land for ornamental purposes is $6.50 per sq.foot.

There ^^are about 60 sq.ft. of land that Mr. Bates wants.

Mr. Mr. Bates has also first choice to land (^^{a portion of} the same piece) adjacent to his lot.

What I wish to know is this - Do you want to buy the adjacent piece at $6.50 per sq.ft. or not.

The answer at your earliest convenience will oblige yours.
