The Annual Report of the Treasurer was then read by him.

Reports of Treasurer & Superntendent

And the Annual Report of the Superintendent was read by the Secretary:

And they were severally accepted and ordered to be printed for the Annual Meeting of the Proprietors.

Communication of Cath. K. Baldwin respecting Tomb referred to Com. on Lots _

A communication from Catherine K. Baldwin, proprietor of lot No. 3496 making objections to the tomb built for her under the direction of the Superintendent, and one from the Superintendent explaining the business was laid before the Board: _

And it was Voted,

That the subject be referred to the Committee on Lots with full power.

Stone Steps to Anemone Path to be paid for by Corporation

A bill of $440.00 due to Churchill, Williams & Co. for furnishing granite steps at the westerly end of Anemone Path, where it rises from Spruce Avenue, ordered by Mr James Read, was laid before the Board.

The Board considering the steps a necessary improvement to the whole path, there being no other good entrance, it was Voted,

That the Treasurer be instructed to pay to Churchill, Williams & Co. the sum of four hundred and forty dollars ($440.00) for a set of Granite Steps at the westerly entrance of Anemone Path out of the funds of the Corporation.

I think my bargain for Stone work with Messrs Williams & Churchill was $1000 or $110000 Their bill paid by you will tell the exact amount.
