Stephen G. Deblois Esq. Dear Sir The removals have been made from the lower tier of catacombs in Trinity Church Lot so that no one need fear any more trouble from water to best of my belief.
The Trustees request me to ask if some simple way of numbering the graves could not be adopted in place of the long granite stones which certainly do not add much to the appearance. Hoping their suggestion may meet with a favorable response.
Respectfully J.W. Lovering Supt.
Dear Madam
The cost of resetting a portion of curb around Lot #3601 [?] wd be $20.00/100 (say twenty dollars).
I would advise you to defer having the work done till the fall of the year as the execution of the order wd entail the necessity of removing some of the sods which, in all probability, when replaced would be thereby incurring an extra expense in putting the lot in good order later in the season. We shall be happy when the work done on receiving an order from you as also to number your Lot which wd you than include in your order.
Yours rep'y James Lovering Supt.

Dear Sir
At the request of our trustees I wrote to Mr Deblois asking if it would not be possible to dispence with the long lines of granite now used to number the graves on the Trinity Lot, and use some small head stones, so as to get rid of the long granite lines.
I wrote several days ago & have been hoping for an answer, and have waited on that accound. Perhaps Mr. Deblois may be away & if so, would you kindly consider the matter.
The sodding I would certainly not advise until there has been rain to some extent and I think in the present dry state of Mt. Auburn that it would be a difficult matter to make anything look green, the if you wish we could sow some oats over the lot.
Please let me hear from you or Mr. Deblois in regard to the stonework.
Respectfully J.W. Lovering Supt

Dr Sirs
We have running numbers to cut from 1 to 27 on Trinity Church Lot on ^long Granite stones which mark the graves. Please let me know at what price you will do the whole job. We want good work but the sides can be bevelled and need not be square sunk which ought to cost less.
Yrs truly J.W.Lovering Supt

Dear Sir
We have an order on our books to "Grade & Sod a lot" which you have purchased recently.
I learn that you are thinking of building a tomb, & therefore, would respectfully uniform you that, unless you prefer otherwise, it would be best to defer doing anything to the lot, until the tomb is finished.
I shall be glad to do whatever work you may wish done on the lot or tomb
Respectfully Yrs. J.W.Lovering
Dear Sir
We have completed the alterations on Trinity Church Lot & also sodded it. The numbers I have been delayed about, but hope to get them cut soon.
Our By-laws require that every lot shall be fenced, or marked by boundary posts, and I shall be glad if you will authorize me to have boundary posts set. I have only square & octagonal topped posts. Should you wish to put up something more elaborate by the future, I will take the posts back & allow you something for them.
Respectfully J.W.Lovering
