Sam'l T. Snow Esq. Ch'man Com. on Lots

Dear Sir,

In regard to the supply of ground Posts, (for corners of Lots) would say, McDonnell & Sons of Quincy Mass. have had a running contract for 10 years past (to cut in winter and send when they choose) at a cheap rate, and I think we have now a sufficient supply on hand for the coming year, so that it will not be necessary to buy anymore at present.

Respectfully Yours C.W. Folsom Supt.

Gents,

On looking over our stock of "Ground Posts," we find sufficient, for the present at least, and would therefore request you not to send anymore posts until further orders, except perhaps some few which you may have on hand at the moment.

Respectfully Yours C.W. Folsom Sup't Per E.T.K.

Dr Sirs

I have seen the lot of octagon posts you have sent us & am sorry to find that they are pretty hard looking specimens, and do not compare favorably with your previous work here. I shall depend on your sending us something better, for the balance of the lot, or else I prefer you should send none. Please give this matter your attention, and oblige

Yours truly J.W. Lovering Supt

Wm P. Tewksbury Esq 32 Bromfield St Boston

Dear Sir:

Your favor of the 28th inst is at hand. If you will send the Number of the Lot referred to in the letter to me, I will send you an estimate in detail of what is needed to put the lot in proper order, from which you can order what you see fit.
