Wednesday, May 24, 1922

A good day. The men folk
worked on tobacco land all day Mrs. [Car-?] and Ela spent
the day with Josie. Mr Sam Hubbard came for Ella.
Miss Anna and little [Louise?]
Hubbard came with him.
Miss Anna brought Josie
some light bread. Mollie
Reynolds came late this
evening we had the cabbag
that Mrs Kent brought
and lettice and ham for
dinner. I got a letter
from Carrie today. I am
always glad to hear from
her.
