Brumfield	November 11 - 27, 1845 and myself contracted for the carpenters work of our House he was not at home, but I found him at a sale at Mr Cotes, he recollectd some of the conversation but did not recollect the positive contract but said he would reflect upon & let me hear from him in a few days— I then come up to Republican to see Mr. Spencer Keeling who Mr Moon tried to get - to take the Job off his hands after so anxious to get it.
