Mary Hill washed for H-
After the store closed Charley
took the spring wagon & went
over to the Ed. Thomas Sr. place
and cut & brought home some
grass & weeds.

June. Wednesday 30th. 1886.
Uncle Henson here at work.
After dinner Charlie undertook
to plow the lot next door
with " Fritz" but it was too hard
work for the horse & gave out
for the present. The weeds will
have to be cut off before it can
be plow'd. Willie came home
about 8 o'clock this a.m. sick
with sort of "cholera morbus"
Ernest being held in the same
way. I sent him some medicine
by mail. I am quite unwell
myself. Walter Scott was
here for advice & medicine for
fis sister "Lizzie".
