gentlemen on the free pew system
the following resolution offered
by Mr Yarborough was unanimously
adopted
"Resolved that the pew-holders
retain their pews. on the same system
and the vestry be instructed to
ascertain from such persons as
are unable to pay their pewrent
what amount each one is able
to contribute and will agree to
guarantee towards the charges
of the church and to make a
proper [illegible] of the same"
The congregation then
adjourned after which was held
a meeting of the vestry and the
following committee appointed
in pursuance of the fore going
resolution Messrs Yarborough
Potts & Greanor. The vestry then
