Sir:

I have the honor to submit the following Report of Operations for the month of November, 1871

Yaquina Light House Oregon

The chimneys were received by the Light Keeper on the evening of the 22nd November, and the Light was exhibited on the 23" of November.

Cape Foulweather Light Station, Oregon.

Completed Messhouse, Men's quarters, Shore-house, Carpenters Shop and Water Tanks.

Excavated for Tower to the depth of 11 feet, and curbed up with timbers. Hauled 75 tons of sand for foundation of Tower.
Completed Road to the Spring.
Severe Storms have prevented landing lime and cement for concrete foundation of Tower. 42,000 bricks & 36 barrels cement delivered.
Foundation of Tower:42,000 brick & 36 Bbs cement delivered

Probable work in December.

Such work as the weather will permit.
