Sir:

I have the honor to state, that among the stores received at Yaquina Light House Chimnies for Lamp cannot be found. This will cause some delay in lighting the lamp which is otherwise all ready.

I have written to Commodore Taylor L.H. Inspector to please at once forward the chimnies. The day the chiminies are rec'd at Yaquina the Lamp will be lighted.
