48Work done at Cape Hancock Light Station. Cape Disappointment W.T. Consequent upon damage done July 12 by firing in vicinity of 15 inch gun. July 27. Commenced new house and frame for fog bell to be as follows: bell house to be 10 feet square with 8 feet high walls, balloon frame, weather boarded and painted white. Bell frame to be 8 1/2 feet high, from the house floor and made of 10 inch square timber. Will be completed about the 3d of August 292 | 48Work done at Cape Hancock Light Station.
