Sirs:
I have the honor to request authority for the following repairs to be made at Cape Foulweather Light Station, Oregon,

viz:

Cementing Cellar Floors, $254.00
The present floors are of brick which absorb and retain the moisture, causing the floor joist, sills, etc. to rot and making the cellars unfit for use. As this space is needed by the keepers it is proposed to put in concreting over the brick floors and where require, to cement the walls.
Drainage of grounds, $83.00
The natural slopes of the grounds around the dwelling are such as to cause the water to run towards the cellars, and
