where the wreck in question took place _ was very
much intoxicated and behaved in so dangerous
a manner towards the people who were assembled
at the Wreck that it became necessary for the public
safety to take his pistol from him.
This circumstance he stated was related to
him by Mr Richd Fenby _ Constable for the parish
of Withernsea.
I bring the subject under your notice that
you may make such inquiries respecting the
same as you may deem necessary.

Be so good as to state hereon the offence committed
by the parties you have named and should they
have taken any articles belong to the "Capital" _ away
from the Beach _ or other convenient place
where the same were deposited_ have the
goodness to let me know- where the same one
be found that steps may be taken for their

Sir,
I beg to acquaint you that Mr Wm Clarkson of Hull
Agent of the Wakefield Marine Insurance {Company}
Society - called upon me this morning_ and satisfied
me that the "Capital" of Goole wrecked at Kilnsea on
on the night of the 25 Inst is insured by that Society
you may therefore transact business with him res-
-pecting the said Wreck as representing the Owners
thereof.
