of 24th instant on the subject of a
deposit with me of the sum of £8
on the 17..... by the Agent of the
General Steam Navigation Company, in
respect of services rendered by certain
Officers of the Coast Guard to the Vessel
"Lavinia" of Deptford wrecked at ........
on the 4th .... I beg to acquaint you
that the nature of those services were
explained to the ...... General of the
Coast Guard by Lieutenant Poynter of
...., the Chief Officer of the district
who directed a decision thereof as follows viz
Peter Flicker Clip B'ham £2. 13. 4
Michle Tiddy Commd B'ham 2. 2. 8
George Milne " B'ham 1. 12. 0
Fredk R. Cockerline Extra man 1. 12. 0
