I had a villa & Italian servants
and spent two winters there.
One gets to S. Rome in a few
minutes from Bordighera by
rail - & the drive to Newtone
is quite lovely -

than we have- the rain is
never ceasing here just now
and I am very rheumatic.
I see Ch very often and I am so
glad that I came for I hear
they will soon be moving &
probably to Ireland.
