Emmeline Maria Macarthur, daughter of Hannibal
H. Macarthur married, first George F. Leslie, who
died March 3, 1860, and secondly, in 1865, Vigant
M. de Falbe, captain in the Danish Navy, who died
early in 1872.
By her second marriage she had two sons, viz.
Christian, born June 21, 1866, and William Vigant,
born November 10, 1867.
She visited Australia in 1869 with her husband
and children, and left Sydney in November of that
year. She did not use the name De Falbe, but signed
her letters E. M. Falbe or Emmeline Falbe.
