992335 Seattle Nov 12 1890 To the President Board of Aldermen Your committee to whom was refered the bids for printing of the Post-Intelligencer, Press, Times and Telegraph would say that we have given each bid careful consideration and beg leave to submit our report as follows. We find the bid of the press to be the lowest. That of the Post Intelligencer the next lowest. The bid of the Times next and the bid of the Telegraph the highest. Respectfully submitted Frank A Pontius, Chairman F.W. Wald In so far as we must consider the lowest cash bid by which we understand that the respective circulation is to be considered we find Committee recommend that the contract be awarded to the Post Intelligencer first and The Press second. Frank A Pontius FW Wald Report Adopted.
