The State of Alabama Shelby County
Schedule of the property of George Bishop who is imprisoned in the county Jail for non payment of fine & was 1st he Says he had 2 notes, which he left in Couso County of this State in his Trunk in the possession of Nathaniel Ford the first note was for Sixty Six or Seven dollars Signed by Wyatte Ford. due this affiant thirty in October 1855. the other for for Twenty five dollars Signed by Nathaniel Ford and past due. he Says he has a Trunk or did have. when he left Couso. And he further says he has no other estate either real or personal in possession or in expectancy or in action liable to execution with in the State of Alabama to pay said fine & cost or any part thereof wherefor he claims discharge. Sworn to & subscribed before George W Bishop me this the 31 of March 1855

On examination of James Hubbard & George Bishop Charged with an assault & Battrey upon two nego men slaves of N H Gardner it assuming such an offence has been Committed and that therre is sufficient Cause to beleive that James Hubbard & George Bishop are Gilty thereof you are therefore Committed to Recover them into your Custody and detain them untill they Legaley discharged
