Having applies last month to the
Chief Commissioner of Crown Lands Sydney
requesting leave of absence from my
District for two months from 1st. Feby
next for the pupose of transacting
business of importance in Sydney
And as the [Illegible] of Queensland
into a separate Colony - published
since my application was made -
might in the event of my not applying
to your office also, have the effect of
retarding the granting of such leave
of absence I have now the honor to
request that I may be granted leave
of absence from my District from 1st.
