My dear Mother
Thy letter and the invitation to Barclay's
wedding came yesterday. I have not asked Barty about
the latter yet, as I think most probably the note from
cousin Frank Wharton that did not go straight was an
invitation to go to his house and I want to know when, before
asking about the other. I think there will be no difficulty about
getting there in time. A dress coat would not be the proper
thing would it to wear to church?Does thee think that I
would know many people there?The ear ache of yesterday
turned out to be one such as I had after the measles and
after 5 or six hours it burst which soon relieved it. Is not
it nice about Hannah and her son. Boyd's cold is not well
yet but he is not in bed. I hope you are well. I feel so. W.W.S
