& the monies received from the sale of lots
& the interest upon the accummulations, & the
surplus will be found at the end of the
two years congruate to the accomplishment
of the object.

Second. The Committee who suggest that it
will be desireable as soon as the gate and lodges
are completed ^to begin to erect an iron fence on
the whole front line of the grounds [abuttment?]
[division?]; & to reviewed with the erection from
year to year until the work is completed.
^according to the State of the Funds. They also suggest that on the house [?]
it is expedient to plant a live hedge fence
of Buck Thorn or some other suitable shrub
on the inside of the present fence; believing
that in a few years in this way a very
handsome & permenant hedge may be thus
obtained at a comparatively trifling expense.

Third. The Committee also recommend to
purchase, if it can be [received?] upon reason-
able terms of ten or twelve acres of land
upon ^the western and southwestern side of the grounds
at Mount Auburn, contiguous to the present
fence, as a suitable enlargement of the
grounds, & also as giving a better permanent
boundary - upon traversing the canal, they found
