(1789 – June 13, 1867) American construction engineer, developer of the Granite Railroad and father of [[Bryant, Gridley J. F.|Gridley J. F. Bryant]]. Partner of [[Bryant & Blaisdell]] that built the palisade or wooden [[perimeter fence]] around the Cemetery in 1849.
