Stone, James

[[Lot 1937]] (1790 - 1873) Son of [[Stone, Nathaniel|Nathaniel Stone]]. He is number 445 in the <a href="https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/005763791">Simon Stone Genealogy</a> available in Hathi Trust. Land Owner. Upon Nathaniel's death in 1843, the land of the Stone family homestead was divided among James and his brothers [[Stone, Isaac, Capt.|Isaac<!--Stone-->]] and [[Stone, David|David<!--Stone-->]], with James taking the "old house" and the land between Coolidge Avenue and the Charles River. He later sold his portion of land to Isaac.
