I send you enclosed M^r [?effries] tis the very one you desire to know on whose Lot the work was done, and charged to Wentworth & Co. Our Order Book is signed by them,

The reference to the other bills named on our List, I know nothing about them. If the work was done by. the Cororation, it was done in M^rAdams time; and I have'nt a Book. or. scrap of paper. to enlighten me in my duties. from him. I trust, I shall be able to "Weather away" without any. I too was sorry you was out when I called. at your Office. on Saturday
