[?] K. May Esqr

DrSir

Your letter with enclosed bill for approval ws received this morning.

I send you enclosed Mr [?effries] tis the very one you desire to know on whose Lot the work was done, and charged to Wentworth & Co. Our Order Book is signed by them,

The reference to the other bills named on our List, I know nothing about them. If the work was done by. the Cororation, it was done in MrAdams time; and I have'nt a Book. or. scrap of paper. to enlighten me in my duties. from him. I trust, I shall be able to "Weather away" without any. I too was sorry you was out when I called. at your Office. on Saturday
