Dear Sir

Yours of yesterday date is at hand.

Enclosed please find "Pay Roll" for the month of September last, together with a small file of bills due from some of the Labourers as noted on said "Pay Roll"

In regard to the address of the two persons named in your Note We have no means of knowing here by our Records - I will however give you those from the Book, and You can probably learn something more from the Permits that are on file at Mr Coolidges office [Marnie?] I. Welch died May 5. 1858. aged 36 years and is in grave No 372. St. John Lot Anna A [Mantress?] died May 5 1852 aged 50 years grave No 80. St Johns Lot
