The undersigned respectfully requests the Board to consider the propriety of increasing the compensation of Secretary & Treasurer for the last fiscal year, and to make such increase for the current year as they may think just and proper. --

At a meeting of the Trustees held on this date, communications from the Secretary and Gatekeepers respecting increase of salary were referred to a special Comee consisting of

Messrs Norcross Bowditch & Bigelow

and they were chosen a Comee to consider and report upon the whole subject of salaries at an adjt meeting, to be called by this Comee when ready to report --

Voted also to refer to said Comee the Comn & estimate of the Supt on the subject of cost & profit of gardeners & greenhouse.
