Dr Sir:
May I take the liberty of requesting that you will furnish us with such printed informaton relative to the Constitution, laws, regulations, fees &c &c of your Corporation, as would be of service to us in organizing and maintaining a Cemetery, on the [?most] approved plan. We shall buy 160 acres, & while not able to spend over say #5000 inimmediately in improvements yet desire to make the expenditure with an eye to the future, so that, in starting with the benefit of the experience of others, we shall years hence, have a landscape garden in which to rest our loved ones. All information upon these points, or an indiciation of the books from which such Knowledge can be obtained, will be thankfully received.
As an excuse for troubling you, we pleas our ignorance & desire for light; and your ability to assist us therewith
