Dear Sir

I find that the number of interments in the public lots has never been reported by the Sup^t distinct from the whole number of interments, except for the years 1838, 1856, 1857 --

In 1838 there were 14 --

" [In] 1856 " [there] " [were] 57

" [In] 1857 " [there] " [were] 52 --

But I think they may be safely estimated from the aggregate receipts of sales in public lot up to 1858, which I find from Treasurer's Report is ^$5,226. -- which number divided by ^$10, the price until the last year gives 522 which must be nearly correct. --
