1868-04-28 Trustee Committee Report on Nominating Treasurer, 2021.004.083

The Committee to whom was referred the subject of nomination of a Treasurer, Report: that after due consideration, they came to the conclusion that the most economical course for the Trustees to pursue, was to unite the office of Treasurer with that of Secretary, provided that one could be found who would?? attend to the duties of both offices for the salaries now paid, i.e. $2350 2500 pr annum.

The present secretary M^rCoolidge has offered to under -take the duty of Treasurer - in addition to his present duty - for $1000 pr annum, and agrees to pay, and be responsible for an accountant satisfactory to the Trustees. Your committee therefore submit for your consideraton, the offer of Mr A. J. Coolidge for the office of Treasurer
