The Trustees Apr. 28. 1870 Accepted -

The Committee appointed at the meeting of the Trustees to report (among other things) the name or names of a suitable person or persons for the Offices of Treasurer and Secretary of the Cemetery of Mt Auburn beg leave to report that after due enquiry & consideration, they unanimously recommend for the Office of Treasurer

for the Office of Secretary

Samuel Batchelder Jr.

They also recommend that the salary of the Treasurer be two thousand dollars ($2000) and that of the Secretary be fifteen hundred dollars ($1500).

They are also of opinion that the By Law requiring that the Treasurer shall give bond in the sum of five thousand dollars should be amended and that the amount of the bond should be ten thousand dollars
