To the Trustees of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn: --

Gentlemen:

The undersigned respectfully requests the Trustees to increase his compensation for the ensuing year.

He also [represents?] that it is Exceedingly difficult for him to perform the duties of the office without the presence of an assistant.
