Office of the Mount Auburn Cemetery Company, Boston March 10^th1868

The Committee, to whom was referred a communication from the Secretary dated 11^th February last, with regard to an increase of his salary and relative to an assistant in his office, have considered the same and Report

That they recommend that the Salary continue to be the same as last year, viz $1350, and that the Secretary have the use of the small room leased by this Company free of rent, for the purpose of transacting his private business - the larger room to be kept for the sole use of this Company which is to pay all the expenses of both rooms as specified in their lease -

The Committee do not recommend any action in relation to an assistant.
