1866-05-07 Trustee Committee Report on Officers Salaries, 2021.004.068

The Committee appointed to"Enquire & report upon the compensation of all Salaries oficers of the Corpora tion" to whom their Report made April 2. 1866 was recommitted - beg leave to report. -

That upon further consideration, they recommend that the Salary of the Secretary be foar the present year thirteen hundred fifty dollars (1350) and that of the Gatekeeper Six hundred fifty dollars ($650) with the usual allowance for Sundays.

The Cmmittee are induced to recommend this increase to the amount mentioned in their former report, on account of the present high cost of living and as a Special & temporary increase, and not in any way fixing the Salaries for any future years. The Committee See no reason for changing the Salaries of the Superintendent & Treasurer from those mentioend in their former Report.
