1865-11-06 Trustee Committee on Preparing Catalogues, 2021.004.014

The Committee to which was referred the revision of the By-laws and the printing of the same in connection with a new edition of the catalogue (Feby. 20. 1865) beg leave to report that the preparation of a new catalogue has progressed nearly to completion, and they also learn that the new lithographic map ordered by this Board is nearly finished.

As it is very desirable that the two works should appear and be distributed simultaneously, your Committee recommend that the Trustees appropriate a sum not exceeding twenty three hundred and fifty dollars, for the following purposes: -

For composition printing and binding 4000 copies of Catalogue eleven hundred dollars 1,100 500 " extra one hundred " 100. Extra expense in preparation one " " 100 Printing 4500 copies of lithographic map including paper @ 20 cents 900 Total - twenty three hundred & fifty dollars 2350.

They therefore recommend the adoption of the following vote: -

That the Committee appointed in February last to prepare a new edition of the Catalogue be authorized to expend a sum not exceeding twenty three hundred and fifty dollars for the printing and distribution of four thousand five^hundredcopies of the catalogue and the same number of copies of the new lithographic map.
