Dear Mr. Lovering,

I always thought that perpetual care simply meant the cutting of the grass, the setting out of flowers and the renewing of the myrtle, when necessary. That is to say enough was paid in to cover the cost of these each year, [with all?] of the annual bills. I never contemplated any resetting of stones, or erection of monuments.

By [own?] [cad..?] a Donation in trust, the proprietors can deposit such a sum as he sees fit, and the income can be spent on the lot, keeping it in order as far as it proves [sufficient?] by the other a sum is named for which the Corpn agree to do certain things.
