Mr. Lovering, -

Dear Sir, -

I am very sorry to be obliged to complain, but I feel that I must, of the condition of the myrtle on Mr. H. A. Bacon's grave on Vernonia Path. I would not trouble you so early in the season, hoping it might improve, but it was just the same last

[right page] year, my frequent complaints to the gardener and at the office were answered with "have patience, it will grow thicker and improve" it did not however, but was poor all Summer.
