To the Superintendent of Mt Auburn Cemetary-

I wished to ask the price for covering the graves with periwinkle? also to ask the Gardener to suggest some hardy Shrub for the outer corner of the border of Lot 1549. as the laurel planted there does not appear to flourish very well. We prefer ^flowering shrubs in our border to flowers - We have one Smoke bush, would another do well in that corner, or can the

Gardener suggest anything better? We are about to put the Lot under perpetual care, therefore we wished to leave it as nearly to our minds as possible. Please address the reply to
