Jaes W. Lovering Esq Dear Sir Will you please let the bearer have a two-horse load of fine leaf mould which used to be in abundance in the swamp in the front of St Paul Public [Lat?], where the leaves have been dumped so many years. If you have used it up it is of no consequene; but as the team was over that way on another errand, I thought they could bring back a load. Any expense will be paid by bearer Yours [Respy] F.M.
