Dear Sir
Thanks for yours of 18. inst. May I ask if the fence should be removed whether it is not proper to have a chain or hedge of some sort around the Lot? Of course you know what is proper and all I wish is to have the general appearance of the Lot fully as good as it has heretofore been. Mr Arthur Searle I presume would not expend anything (except for actual cost for yearly care) and any necessary expense (which I leave to you) will be taken
