Dear Sir: -

I am directed by the Committee to again call your attention to the rusty fence and the headstone is out of plum on lot #1601 Spruce avenue.

These fences gradually get into a condition in which painting and repairs help them but little; I would therefore advise that instead of trying to preserve the fence you have it removed. The lot will be much improved if the fence and all the posts except those at the corners are removed, these rehammered, and the number of the lot cut on one of them, which can be done for the proceeds of the old material.
