Dear Sirs

The vestibule of our New Receiving
Tomb (Elevation of one side of interior is enclosed) is built
inside of face brick with sand stone trimmings, and
the brick work is in panels. On each side as you enter
are two panels about 5 ft & 21 inches, and on the ends
are smaller panels two on each end 2 ft & 21 inches.

In order to lighten up the tomb, I have proposed to
put up marble tablets of the same size as the panels which
can be fastened to the wall by a bolt set in the brick work
and an ornamental brass nut to show on the marble.
one in each corner.

It is proposed [to?] cut inscriptions on thes tablets which
ought to be done before they come here.

What would 4 tablets of the larger size cost put up by you,
with best Italian marble highly polished, and brass heads
of [?] & [?] patterns, also 4 of the smaller size. These
measurements are within an inch or two but not absolutely [exact?].

It is possible that some inscriptions may be wanted on
