John a Blanchard Esq

Dear Sir

I have your favor the 8th ints.
The lots #851 & 1896 were topdressed on ;
the charge on #1896 was not rendered at the time the
rest were on account of an overcharge, since corrected,
the orders have been recorded, however ever since the
day received, and the lots were attended to among
the first. We have so many small gardening charges to
be entered on the Treasurer's books every fall, that
occasionally a bill is rendered before some small
part of the order is completed, but of course I don't
ask or expect any one to pay until the work has been
examined.

The last order you signed was for care for 1874.
We do not usually ask for orders so early, but it was
found more convenient to do so this year. I regret
