John T. Bradlee Esq Dear Sir,

Your favor of 23d first reached me yesterday.

I am now making preparations to leave for Europe, having taken passage in steamer of 19th Aug for Bremen.

In order to carry out the proposed work, I must wait until my next visit to Boston, say Thursday or Friday of next week, when I will

take the necessary tools with me, and should be obliged if you would kindly give the necessary notice to the Supt that I might go to work at once.
