Cambridge, April 10. 1871 To the Trustees of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn:-
Gentlemen:
I desire to purchase of your Corporation a small strip[e?] of land from the "Stone Meadow" adjoining my land, about fifteen feet wide and about two hundred feet in length, or from Coolidge Avenue to the ditch forming the easterly bound of said lot— say nearly 3000 sq. ft.
This will not disturb the regular form of your lot. —
