Boston- January 26, 1871.

The Special Committee, to whom was given " full power to make such repairs upon the house occupied by the Superintendent as the Committee may deem desirable" beg leave to report: That on making an examination of the premises they found that a general renovation of the paint and paper was required, the house and outbuildings needed shingling and other incidental repairs were necessary, both for the proper preservation of the buildings and the comfort and convenience of the Superintendent. With a desire to accomplish these results and at the same time exercise a judicious economy the Committee have expended on account of

The bills have been paid by the Treasurer, and the Committee believe that the house is now in excellent condition, which can be maintained at small cost for seveal years
