September 14 1865 Daniel L Winsor

Mount Auburn Cemetery. Mount Auburn, September 14 1865 James William Kimball Esq. Dear Sir, I have received your two letters in regard to the [?] bill [sent?] you by the [?] [Geo W Bond Esq?]

I told you the [Grading?] of the lot would be $1500 with [4?] of [each?] Stub Posts. You made a new arrangement in [having?] posts & [?]. and therefore I do not think [?] 500 with 4 of [each?] post should be the basis of a settlement! I have done the work and charged you the same as I do all other properties. The posts I [?] to have charged in the bill, as I gave Mr. Williams [?] [?] on you. and omitted to [minute] it on the Book hence the mistake, which I shall deduct. although there is no profit there charged on the posts. Respectfully Yours Daniel L. Winsor Over

P.S. You will please bear in mind that It costs extra to Grade a lot over the 2d time for sodding as digging so many holes is makes it necessary to remove [?] the whole thing and [?] as one must [?] [?] found the labor increased and also the material for filling up and [?] now charge $10000 for the back lots You seemed to have pinned me down to what I thought the foundation would cost say $1200 [?] I[?] $12. [but?] [then?] I made no minutes and merely [meant?] to [[merely?]] approximate!
