Your letter with enclosures rec'd. Will carry the money to Mr. Mackintosh within a day or two, that is for the lot. The charge for laying foundation & setting should not be paid -- as it never is -- until it is finally done -- the former imperfect attempt, counting

deed I hold for my former lot to Mr M also. The location for interment I will give personally to Supt. of Interment with other details.

for nothing. Moreover I was told by Mr L at your office, that the charge would be $8.00 or $8.50 at the outside. Is it Mr. L's sole prerogative to mislead people & give false information?

A gentleman who has paid such bills tells me $9.50 seems to him "downright robbery". It was as much a bargain as any transaction for which I previously ascertain the price -- Given by your employee, I ask to abide by it --
