I did not particularly remember the work done for Mr Dexter, but I looked at our index & found a charge for [ptg?] fence paid Mr Derby

Mr Safford said the other charge as pr bill rend was not indexed an hence the [?] which one day would have come to light is finishing up my order Book I have now Yesterday closed the bargain with Mr Fay for the last lot on Laurel Hill, I [?] late last evening went over to Charlestown & closed the bargain with the Thompson family - and this morning I have a letter from [Melianna?] & probably shall get the old tomb

PS. A person friend of Mr Norcross was to come out this morng and have an answer as to obtaining one of those lots on Laurel Hill so yesterday while all was [?] I went to Quincy
