[Letterhead: Mount Auburn Cemetery. Mount Auburn,] Jany 3d 1866.

Austin J Coolidge

Yours of yesterday is at hand. I have written Mr Bond in regard to the "Livermore Lot". I sent one day last week to Wm Read. The two bills he mented, and also, Messrs Churchill & Williams bill of Steps, and in the letter mentioned that the setting of the steps, cost the Corporation $12500.

The "Diagram" of Lots on "Trifoil" is correct as you have drawn them, and Mr Shields is wrong, 'spose the number got misplaced by the Gardners.

Mr. McDonald has given them an estimate of $45000 for an addition to be made to Josiah Voses Lot I think the sum given in for "Perpetual care" say $110000 was ample, before the alteration. The figure with the "Base" as drawn is to set upon the top of the Old "Cube"

and as it has no handles would not increase the risk very much!

MrShedds Survey of 2 Lots on "Lantana Path" 2532 & 2841 are correct. I had forgotten that I told MrBarker to lay them out so!

I will come in tomorrow if the weather is decent.

Truly Yours Daniel L. Winsor
