I called at your House this evening. but. found that you were out
My Object [?] to tell you that I should go to Drexbury tomorrow, and. [?] next day morn ing - I received a letter. from. One of the Trustees and, Treasurer. of. the "Partridge Academy", at Drexbury; requesting me to be present at their Yearly meeting tomorrow, accordingly I sent off this morning at 4 AM. The mnonument Mr McDonnel has been making, together with the figure of "Truth" in all, about 4 tons by two teams, and they probably arrived down at 3 oclk PM today. So I calculate to Kill "2 Birds with one stone" Attend their meeting and see how the Monument looks up tomorrow {as the Academy & Cemetery are within a Stone throw, of each other.} I trust I have left amtters in good shape At the Cemetery to be attend [for?] in my absense by Mr. Barker & the Sexton, . I wrote Mr. Curtis yesterday in reply to his, by [son?] and. have made out my Weekly Report of one Lot only sold up to this evening. Yours truly Daniel L. Winsor
